The less you depend on people the stronger your spiritual muscles are going to become, to fulfill God’s purpose for your life.
Though I have had dreams, feelings, seen visions, all with no understanding, but at each time, I knew somewhere in my heart all were encounters that I should go through to build me for the essence of my creation. Most times when we don’t know what to do with what was given to us, we look for people to share with and get help. Isn’t it amazing how God builds? He builds through people yet nobody owes you anything.
Just so you know no one owes you anything – not even your government or your parent, you are a SPIRITUAL BEING, so also are the people around us – we are only covered up with flesh. The flesh is not who you are. The earlier you realize this, the better for you, and the more you are able to accomplish your life’s purpose. It will be for your own good if you’d just go through every of life’s training as they come without whining, so your test can come quickly and you keep moving from one level to another. The faster you move in the school of life, the earlier you progress from level to level and the better your results and real achievements. So quit whining!
God will use all situations for your good because He says ALL THINGS work together for the good of those who love God and that are the called according to His purpose. So take note, everything is meant to work for your good but don’t be careless. I met my #1 coach, I mean #1 – someone interested & interesting, real & reliable, humble & honest, concerned & caring, etc – by virtue of having a step-mom. I’m just a free minded person who wants to be in her own world, so no matter what happens; I just believe God will take me through and I’d be fine. So instead of expecting something, I just go thinking and planning on creating things.
One day my coach asked me simply, young lady (that’s what he calls me) – “WHAT ARE YOUR ASPIRATIONS?” I stuttered for a while, trying to answer but I couldn’t give a clear answer except that I was looking for how to coin an answer from all that I had in my head and heart – my coach quickly decoded my challenge and he said “it’s OK if you can’t tell me now, I just want you to go back home and put your thoughts together, send me an email, then I would invite you for a discussion”, and then he handed me his business card. I remember it was at a cousin’s wedding.
No one has ever asked me about my aspirations! Growing up, I was only taught and told to be respectful, obey rules, work very hard, please people and was trained to fear adults. As I grew beyond my teen age, I began to see that the training I had been given had gradually and successfully drained my confidence as it was focused more on pleasing people than focusing on why I was even ‘sent’ to this world. As I began to hunger for fulfillment, I found out from the word of God that by default design, my confidence is in the Lord, yet I was going to allow the world to take it away by ignorance; thank God he saved me. And He can save you too.
Quit trying to get from people what only God can give – people may not encourage you, you can go ahead and encourage yourself, but don’t be rude or silly in your ways – ask for wisdom and He will give you. People who think that life owes them something are usually bashed by life and they get trapped easily.
You’re a masterpiece. Quit trying to make excuses; hide behind what you think government isn’t doing, the society norms, what you don’t have, and your mistakes. No one is responsible for your happiness – learn to receive your self-worth from above and keep doing the right thing. What you get from God, NOBODY CAN TAKE AWAY. Get your value from God – it pays to be free doing God’s will than to keep seeking approval from people.
What your parent, friend, teacher, pastor, boss, colleague say cannot override God’s plan for your life – they also have issues in their lives they are dealing with. It’s good when people encourage you but don’t always count on that for your approval. When you know your value doesn’t come from people, you’d act better and pursue your purpose with excellence. Let me tell you this, the only power people have over you is the power you give to them. If you rely on people you’d be disappointed. You need to get to the point in your life where you don’t wait on people to cheer you up to feel good about you. Else, you’d never become everything that God has designed you to be. Just do your best honoring God because it’s not your job to keep everyone happy.
When you feel people don’t like to be your friend, that’s OK, see it as their loss, don’t try to force any friendship, let God connect you while you keep working on you to grow up.
GOD HAS IT ALL; please quit relying on people but God – you owe Him your life, don’t waste it and the opportunities that come with it.
Please GET UNDERSTANDING!
